If you want an easy (if expensive) way to synchronize the idle adjustment on dual-carb sixes, Beck/Arnley distributors sell a unit called AUT0-SYN for $18 (J. C. Whitney price: $14.98).
It fits all carbs with 2″ intake necks, but for $2.50 you can get a special adapter for Zenith carbs (AS 001).
A matched pair (AS-400) plus adapters will set you back over $40, but they do an excellent job.
