Locate the diagnostic plug on the left rear of the engine compartment below the fusebox. Pull the cover and find pin number 7. There are small numbers beside each pin. As vou lean over the fender, number 7 should be in the upper-left corner of the plug. Clip a paper clip to one remote starter lead and,-bending one end, insert it carefully into pin number 7. The other lead is hooked to the positive battery terminal. Push the button and the engine will crank.
A cheapo switch can be made by mounting a momentary pushbutton switch in the bottom of a 35-mm film can, the metal Kodak type with the rubber cap. Run two wires from this switch out a hole in the rubber cap, add alligator clips and you’re in business.
