Hey — I’m Michael, and I’ve been running 02Restoration.com since 2002 (the year, not the model).
What started as a place to collect scattered BMW 2002 resources has grown into something I never expected: a free, ad-free archive that has helped 1,441,926 BMW owners and enthusiasts restore and enjoy their classic cars.
No ads. No paywalls. Just two decades of community knowledge, kept alive by one person and a whole lot of passion for a 50-year-old German car.
Here’s the situation
Website hosting costs keep rising, and the site has simply outgrown its current home. Moving to a dedicated hosting platform is the only real option — but it’s not one I can afford on my own.
Hosting goal: $240
