Put the suction cups on the arm which swings, stick them to the window in the center of the dash Drill a quarter-inch hole in the base of the bracket, about a half-inch back, centered on the end which does not have the two plates perpendicular to the base.

Screw on the nut from the bottom and you are all set The key will turn the lock tab under the lip of the glove-box latch so that it cannot be opened.The one place where you will want to exercise caution is in cutting through the foam above the cutout.
