After reading issue after issue with articles on elaborate means to clean dirty headliners, I feel obligated to reveal my closely guarded secret: Carbona Rug and Upholstery Shampoo. When used according to instructions. it will remove all stains and dirt from your headliner. It will not, however, make a chemically discolored headliner white again. The rubber molding around the doors and windows will cause black streaks if the solution is used on them. Be prepared to clean the entire headliner you can't believe the amount of dirt accumulation that is on a headliner.
