BMW 2002tii Rear Window Heater Installation
Follow instructions for application of heating grid to rear window, the easy part. Wiring it up takes more effort. Remove both parts of the rear seat and discover (I hope) a black wire with red tracer which goes nowhere. This wire should be hot when the blower switch is pulled outwards. Use a test light to determine this. Fuse the circuit with a 16 amp fuse -- the fuse-box may or may not have a fuse on this circuit. Ground the window by means of a sheet metal screw put underneath the padding on the roof pillar. Tuck the wires in under the edge of the rear window gasket and you have a neat installation.
