If you have been casting about for a good-looking and effective way of mounting a CB radio in your four-cylinder, but don't want to lose a lot of console space doing it, try this.
Remove the two Phillips-head screws which hold the handle and face plate to the ash tray and place the mounting bracket for the radio between the ash tray and the handle.
Replace the two screws and you're all set.
To install the set, just slide in the ashtray. It is within easy reach and will not slide all over the place. Use a cigarette lighter plug for your power lead. This will probably work in the sixes if the ash trays are assembled in the same manner.
