Protection From Door Dings

Another way to protect from dings is to use 2, 3' to 4' pieces of furring strips, drill holes in each end of the strip, put some thin rope through with enough to reach over the car to the strip on the other side tied together and dropped over the top of the car.

I have used this for many years and it works... if someone doesn't decide they like your idea and make off with it.
